not so much New Member United States 3 Posts	Posted 03/27/2012 3:58 pm Hello. I have this odd coin/token/etc. I would like to know if anyone has information as to what it is. I would lean toward the modern version. We've seen them a few times here on the forum before, like in this thread. They're machine-struck, mass-produced and, as I said in the earlier thread, their flat two-dimensional appearance and curiously distorted designs make me think they were copied from an old picture or line-drawing of a mite, rather than a genuine ancient coin.
