Hello. I have this odd coin/token/etc. I would like to know if anyone has information as to what it is. It is roughly the size of a U.S. dime. Thanks for your time and effort in solving the mystery.

It appears to be a "widow's mite"... that's in really good condition... or a modern replica of such. I would lean toward the modern version. Here's a google pictures link so you can compare and click for more info.VVV

>>> edit >>> It actually appears to be this replica piece.VVV

Yes, it's a replica "Widow's Mite", identical to the ones being sold on the religious supplies website IBGolden linked to. We've seen them a few times here on the forum before, like in this thread. They're machine-struck, mass-produced and, as I said in the earlier thread, their flat two-dimensional appearance and curiously distorted designs make me think they were copied from an old picture or line-drawing of a mite, rather than a genuine ancient coin.

Thanks for the additional info. A good reference to a previous thread. Now I know a little more than 'not so much'!
