Good morning,

Is there anybody in the forum interested in coins or medals, which are issued on a university event (anniversary of foundation, sportive events, honour medals, conferences organised by universities, famous scientists etc.)?

Regards

Yes, this is something, which is included in my collection.
Most of the coins have been issued from Germany, Austria, Finland, Polonia, Czech Republic, Bulgaria, Romania, Spain, Italy, Russia, Ukraine, Philipine, Thailand, Egypt, Venezuela and last not least one US Dollar on West Point Academy.
But much more interesting are the art medals composed mainly by famous artist. I have just started to show some in the medal thread.
I started with an extremely rare medal from Karl Goetz. I assume Goetz medals might be popular in the US due to the publication of Kienast.
