I received an email the other day that I thought would be interesting to you lightside Confederate coin collectors..........

"I came across your cat coin collection and thought you would like to have a picture of an image I found within a coin I have. The engraver purposely placed there but I am not sure why. Id purposes most likely, like he did with initials on all his work he actually created. Enjoy

JC"

Can you make out the cat in the center of the photo:)

In response, I asked for more info, and he again replied

"That coin was engraved by Robert Lovett Jr. The image was taken from an ebattled 1861 Confederate Half Dollar that I represent that is one of the two true Confederate halfs. Here is the site of the two coins and the supporting data that validate these two and invalidate the other 4 and the 1000 Scott Restrikes. http://www.geocities.com/losalexspirop/1861.html

Even if the Numismatic soceity wont recognize the two Lovette engraved coins and continues to recognize 4 coins that we prove without a doubt could not be real wont erase the truth...I am taking it for review tommorrow. Enjoy the site if when you visit. The compilation of data and facts alone could be consider the ultimate treasure. Supported able to be backed.

Always and remember trust in yourself Hopefully you will never be misled.
Joe"

Hope you find this useful and informative.
