Humm... good to know Plum! I've seen a few of these 50-D's with pretty weak strikes - from what I've seen so far, I'd rate the first at about 6/10 and the second at 8 or 9/10 for strike. I didn't know that could figure in so much to a grade, but I guess when you get into grades of 65+, it really becomes important.

Anyway, I'll keep that in mind as I search for my '50-D. =) Thanks for everyone's feedback! I'm learnin...

Apparently, there are may be quite a number of people that disagree with the posters here. The teletrade auction has just gone live and the rainbow nickel is already at $380!

Last I checked - about an hour later - it had bid up to $480 or so. It's not listed in the auction results, meaning that it did NOT sell for whatever the final bid was hours later. That means the seller has a very high reserve (unpublished). I tried to check on it later last night, but it was no longer listed, so I don't know what the high bid was.
