These toners were found at work in Proof sets. I thought they were cool and figured I'd show them. I posted them on our website and one sold within minutes. I'm thinking of picking one up myself.

These are known for nice, rainbow toning. I've bought and sold many of them.

nice gibberish though...

As BadThad mentioned, Lincoln proofs of that era can occasionally be found with target toning caused by the OGP proof set case. The eye appeal of them tends to be light and angle dependent though, look at it one way and it may look like hazy junk but catch it under the right light at the right angle and you will see a beautiful bullseye. You did a really nice job on imaging them

Biokemist6, I said I'm not an expert. You know, like you and BadThad think you are.

I never claimed to be an expert on anything but I do have almost 30 years experience so that certainly counts for something. "NAQT" is complete gibberish, completely unrelated to anything regarding numismatics, and your post reeks of smarminess.

You're rather highly-emotional, too, aren't you?

If you had said that in the first place, this thread would have been better off. Now that I know what you meant, I get the joke.

Now that this is out of the way, let's all play nice.

That toning is very different. I'm not sure I care for it but I'm sure some people do..
