For some reason, of all my collection, the dimes are my least favorite. I do like the Bluenose but they just have the least overall appeal of all the coins for me.
Maybe it is because they seem to have the least variety and that it seems harder to find nicer older ones, even the George VI and early Elizabeth ones in eye appealing condition at least for comparable prices.
Silver dollars, nickels, pennies, quarters and fifty cent pieces..in that order...even the Loonies and Toonies..I like better than dimes.
I was just curious if others have a particular denomination that they find least interesting.

Dimes is a good choice, I would go with that too.

I find something appealing about that small, shiny disk, so I like the 10 cent piece. The least favourite for me would likely be the 50 cent piece... I'm not really certain why.

No doubt in my mind.....the bland one cent (small)! Boring to me.....people trip over themselves for them.....but not for me.

I am still working on quarters, silver dollars, silver half dollars, loonies and toonies. I havn't really put to much into the lower three other than what has been passed down to me. I wouldn't mind starting up a large cent collection soon though.

Not sure what would be my least favorite denomination but I generally prefer collecting larger coins like half dollars and dollars.

Commemorative 25c coins... and related NCLT crap...

Dimes, but only because of the size. I feel like I've gone cross-eyed after going through a hundred or so.

My least favourite would have to be the dollars, as I collect Victorian coins almost exclusively, and dollars weren't introduced until 1935 in Canada

I tend to shy away from Quarters. I'll do SLQ's and older but could care less about Washington's. Especially the 25 cent tokens they started making back in 1999.

Me it would be Silver dollars, 25 cents, 50 cents, 10 cents, 1 cents, 5 cents (even the silver ones aren't that nice)

10xloupe,I'm just curious, what coins do you if you don't like dollars, halves, quarters, 10 cents, 5 cents and pennies?

Yeah, must be a real short list then.

50c pieces, because they no longer circulate. I do like some of the silver years, but they are at the bottom of my priority list, unless they are UHC PL's.
