Anyone find any late 2006 errors that they have pictures of?

I have noticed the decline in 2006 major coin errors as this year ends. With all the new restraints in place they have dwindled. It will be interesting what the new year will bring.

The coin below looks hot with bidders fighting to buy it.

Wow!! That's neat error. I wonder what the final bid will be. Do you think this was taken from the mint or found in a roll?

From the looks of it , it could of possibly passed thru in a roll or mint bag . It looks close to being round where it wouldn't of been cast aside at the mint. Though if it got pass the mint there is possible someone at a branch that rolls these for banks could of found it then. Though it depends on its closeness to being the same diameter as a true quarter. Anything way out of the norm for diameter is extremely lucky to make it thru quality control and if it does it is most likely it will be found at brinks or adt or wells fargo that rolls them for the federal reserve and sends them to banks. Though there is always that once in million it gets to the public.

I recently put a thread on this forum. I found a 2006 dime with a huge vampire tooth. Check it out.

Hi Everyone! I just signed up for the forum as it looks like a great place to reaquaint myself with the world of error coins! My brother is an avid collector of US error coins, and with the State Quarter program and the birth of my son, I started collecting myself! I have had no problem getting any of the State Quarter rolls (P). It amazes me at how a lot of banks act like these coins are their personal property!! I have a 'first report' in CoinWorld magazine for South Dakota for the state of Indiana. Anyway, back to the thread, I currently have quite a few errors listed on ebay, seller name goosegoodman, including a 2006 P SOUTH DAKOTA 'TWO-HEADED' PHEASANT (Item number: 200063050497 for your reference). I have found lots of ' Cuds'. BTW, I see several definitions for ' Cud', and I prefer the 'rim Cud' (die break)definition as opposed to the 'extra metal' (die chip) definition. What is your opinion? Happy New Year everyone!
