Are These Nickels From The Same Die ?

Also, these coins are from 2 different mints.

There is master die doubling that exists on all nickels from 1939 through 1964, which is probably what you're showing here. Two different dies would have the same doubling in this case. In order to determine whether your two coins were struck with the same die, I would have to have good photos of similar markers between the two coins and I would have to be able to discern which photos were of which coins.

Thanks Coppercoins. If I understand correctly, the master die had doubling on it so any dies produced from that master would share some of the same characteristics even though sent to different mints.
