Forgive my ignorance, but how much Gold is this in simpler terms ?

8.359 grams nominal

In other words, is this a 1/2 ounce of Gold basically ? .....

Or only a 1/4 ounce ? ....

I'm just not sure......and at $510.00, I'm guessing it must be one quarter.

1 troy ounce = 31.1034768 grams

You have .2687480905671613 troy ounces of gold

1/4 Ounce

Edit:
$448 would be melt as of 10-13-11

I'd pass unless it's a coin that the rarity puts the price over melt
