I'm not so much interested in the grade of this coin as I am about your thoughts on the vertical lines going thru the reverse and to a lesser degree the obverse of this coin. The lines seem to be in the field to the left side of the reverse but do not touch or go thru the leaves. They are very even and don't resemble a scratch in my opinion.

If those are "positive" lines, which is impossible for me to tell in a photo, they would be die polishing faults.

Do the lines "sink into" the coin or are they raised?

TM, I'm not sure if there raised or not.I bought the coin just because I found it interesting.I guess I will know soon enough.I was thinking possibly planchet striations, but I just don't know.

I am not a expert in this field, but sure looks like a die imperfection at the mint.
