ive been to the coin shop twice in the past 2 weeks-- bought 8 coins, and I've pulled a top 100 and a hot 50.... this stuff is exciting... the only thing is I cant recognize any VAM's when I'm at the coin shop, I just know what years have more on the top100 to help increase my chances--- ... outside of taking my cheap field microscope thing in its still a crapshoot-- but a fun, low risk one. reading up on stuff would help, but being a law student doesn't leave the most time in the world

THAT'S wonderful...I see you have a microscope 'by the color'of your photo'''
"LOOKS LIKE MEATS ON THE TABLE BOYS" The reverse is what we had to go by....the 8TF series is an interesting series..It's one of my first studies as I had quite a few.coins...The 78 series went through quite a change in design while they tried to get the production process down, so many varieties are available...The Vam23 has a unique wing feather, the bottom of the left wing as you look at it..Funny as the "P" in ePluribus is the pick up point for this coin and the double lips and your pictures are not good enough to even come close to see what it really looks like. I'm glad a small direction of advice, with your eye's
coin in hand, can confirmed an idea.I love a challenge.Gene
the doubled lips and reverse makes it a lock...you have the coin in hand so many of us can only
