I bought 2 1922 Peace dollars yesterday at a thrift store one has a die break and the other is ms 60 or so. I am wondering if I got these at a good price.For some reasons pictures are not uploading for me but the die break is AU and the other is ms 60 BU. thanks for helping

Without pictures it is hard to say, but on the AU I say around $30 and on the MS around $35.

Total silver value is $24.86 for each coin at this weekends spot price hope that helps

I think I got a decent deal then Thanks. I got both for 40 does the die break make that much of a difference?

How much is the premium usually for common date Peace dollars in AU condition, say MS60-63?

The melt value based upon the current value of silver is around $24.17 each, right now.

I tried to post the link, but for some reason it says the link is a bad word, by the auto filter. I don't get that, since it is a very popular site and there is no bad word in it. If you do a Google search on coin silver prices, it should be the first link. A very helpful site.

And congrats on the great deal. You got them below melt value and the die break won't add much premium to the coin.

I've long wanted to start buying peace or morgans, I'm getting tired of .999, but $35 per coin seems like allot, they are priced at about $37-38 on average right now.
