Please to share two additions to my circulated Dansco 7094 ... USA classic silver commemorative. First ... I picked up the following XF45 (my grade) 1946 Iowa. Would prefer an example with a bit more circulation wear ... but these have been tough to find in any circulated grade. Addition of this lovely coin leaves me with 'only' 18 holes left in my quest for a complete circulated 50 coin type set. The following Lafayette Dollar was actually an upgrade (hmmmm .... perhaps that should be lowgrade?) to my set. Could not resist the very worn circulated cameo appearance. Purchased in a PCGS G06 holder ... now broke out and living happily in my Dansco with it's circulated brethren. Shameless plug that my ex-NGC VF30 Lafayette Dollar is now available at less than I paid for it ... check out the CCF PIN listings. Anyways ... Thanks for allowing me to share these newest additions. David

The Lafayette has amazing wear, circulating through the industrial revolution, the first and maybe the second word war and the depression of the 30's. How many people held and spent this coin, nice down grade. I did check out your VF 30 as this is one of my holes but it is out of reach for me with my finances now.

Nice coins! I do like wear, it makes the coins seem older...

Awesome additions! And I have a question. I was just looking at the Lafayette dollar you placed in auctions for PIN and you stated "Numismedia FMV for VF30 Lafayette Dollar is $375."
when I got to numismedia I only see f12, then vf20, then xf40. Prices skip some grades. I was just curious if you could see prices for all grades somehow?

Thanks all for the kind replies ... chasing down these honestly circulated classic silver commemorative is great fun ... and indeed a set that I might never complete due to market availability. I see the same price ranges you do ... simply did some math to interpolate to a VF30 price estimate ... VF20 at $345 .... XF40 at $403 ... average to VF30 at $374 based on today 10/24/2011 Numismedia FMV. Thanks again to all for the courtesy of a reply ... still searching to fill those final 18 holes! David
