The first one doesn't seem to have crculated much but kind of looks like it has a light purple sandpaper/glittery finish but it feels smooth....?

the second one.....struck through grease maybe?

The first one is some kind of corrosion or possibly plating. I see a few nickels like that now and then. The second I would have to guess some sort of rolling or counting machine mishap.

The first one looks like it was sand blasted. Not sure what happened to the other. They are both definitely PMD though.

If it was dragged through a counter or some thing wouldn't there be damage on the obverse? The reverse almost has a starburt effect going on around the edge while flat in the center....?

The second nickel is PMD, the rim is missing and the edge is beveled which are sure signs of grinding/sanding action.

The first one looks like corrosion from some chemical and the second one almost looks like it was put on a bench grinder.
