I have this odd 1944 dime with four casting marks on the edge. There is no seam between the marks and the coin they appear to be part of the coin itself. has anyone see this

Hello and welcome.

I'm afraid your coin has been soldered onto a bracelet or buckle at some time, then broken off again.

The coin is 1944, not 1994 by the way. I'll fix the date for you and move this thread to the Classic US forum.
