CitizenPatriot Valued Member United States 158 Posts	Posted 10/18/2011 1:03 pm Been busy with "life" in general, but finally got around to photographing all the Morgans in my little (growing) collection. These photos were taken in my little tabletop studio, then processed in PhotoShop with a "custom grayscale" action - I lose the color but most of the luster remains. I'm beginning to realize just how difficult it can be to get good photos of a coin. Click below to see the slide show. One of these has been cleaned (gasp!), so it is now a carry piece. I'm using them for a custom database I'm building to track my collection, so I was trying to get them as similar as possible within the camera before processing in the computer. I think my main issue is lighting (and isn't that the usual bugaboo in photography ?) Sorry, folks, no music for this slide show. Have to use iPhoto for that. Maybe next time.
