I cannot read the language to see if it is plated or not. I have seen some that are "real" gold, but those sell for the price of bullion or better. 99% of them are plated with gold. These are simular to the ones selling on TV for $29.99 Most dealers sell them for for $10 to $15.
If you want a plated one, drop me an email.

Atleast the seller doesn't mention about plating.
He says that the coin is made of "Massives Gold 999/1000", that gives an impression that the coin is "full stuff", but... I wouldn't buy it.

.

I read fluent German
He says it is sollid 999 gold restrike 2005 and that only 1000 were made in this restrike
What makes me suspicious is that only one side is shown
I am not intrested ; just curious whether a gold proof 1933 restrike really exists

There are NO official restrike of the St. Gauden. There are private mints that make these coins. Some offer it in a 1 ounce format.
