What a good, easy site to find the values of coins? I've used coinstudy.com - is that good enough?

If you are looking for US coins, I usually look at numismedia.com Numismedia is usually pretty good, but you might want to take about 20% off their price.
Rest in Peace

I'm not sure about that 20% but it sounds reasonable. I use Numismedia to get an idea of what's what...after that I shop around. But I only buy a coin a month -- maybe a bit more -- and since I'm new to buying coins, I am not buying anything pricey yet.

you have to shop around as sometimes the price differences from one place to another can be huge. For instance, if you watch the auctions on teletrade you'll see that often those coins go for much higher prices than the same stuff will on ebay - and teletrade has a buyer's premium as well. Also, if you use a dealer on a reg basis and get friendly with him you will usually get better bargains as well.

I also use numismedia and find those prices to be fairly close to accurate as well as the website having a good user interface.

On numismedia, any modern coin in circulated condition that they assign a value beyond FV is not really accurate. I'm referring to the G-F range...I know some XFs and AUs will carry a slight premium. Also at the other end of the scale...where some of those values come from are anyone's guess. They also don't list values for some coins in the highest certified grade.
