Check out this old note - 1864 ten dollars. What really intrigues me is the Confederate States part. Anyone know the value or any history of this note?

And- is this considered an error? I can see part of the next bill.

Any comments welcome!

by modern notes I believe it would be , Confederate and Older notes All being Hand cut It was more common so No I dont Belief so . But I could be wrong also its all About the amount of the next note You see Kind of like an off centered coin If its only 5 to 10 Percent its Fairly common

Also Both of are $10 Dollar Note are considered Common, But Its History to me So I don't Care

On the Ten I have the Twin it was cut from Both Choice Crisp Unc.
And A $20 That has Seen better Days

madhandles this is just a quick guess but MAybe $15.00 - $20.00, but remember confederate notes have come along way along time ago there was not a colletor base , and these notes were so fruitful and considered worthless that many burnes them as kidling in the fireplace, I kid you not insulation in the walls, Target Practice and The like, So the estimated quanities printed , as compared to the ones that Survived should be a large difference, how ever hard to estimate the amount that Survived. But I see as time go's on they will be ant the history gets farther away from the actual event the more they will be worth.
All Just My IMHO. Merry christmas Everyone.
