Hello and welcome. It's difficult to say for certain, but it seems possible to me that it was soldered on to something, then broken off again, leaving the damage behind. Or perhaps it was squeezed in a vice-like device, or perhaps it fel into some kind of high-speed machinery and acquired the damage that way.

Hi Sap
Thanks for your reply, when I first got this coin the condition looks very bad dirty old like its been in a sewage for a long time . Then I decide to clean and layered it with Micron Silver

Those dinks or marks do appear to have been from something like a necklace or other jewlery type connections. Possibly rebroaken off to spend.

Hi Thai Baht and welcome to the forum. Can't really help with the post but I notice you're based in Bangkok. Hope you haven't been affected by the flooding. We've been lucky this season on Koh Samui with no serious flooding, unlike back in March.

Hello all thanks for the update :) a lil bit off topic here but would like to update you guys situation in Bangkok, Its getting worst day by day. People are panic, and I can say 60% of Bangkok is now trying to stop water from entering their homes.
Its really pitiful to those flood victims , as for myself I am lucky to be living in an apartment so it wont effect me much but it really creates a lot of trafic jams during peak hours due to floods
School holiday are being extended and several factory workers have been lay off from their job. The Thai government is doing their best to coup with the situation and this really hurts foreign investors and businesses in Thailand

It was supposed to last Friday. Prediction by the same guy who predicted it would end last May 21st. When it didn't last May he announced he had made a mistake in his calculations and that the world would end Oct 21st 2011. (This was his fourth end of the world prediction in the past decade.)
