spock1k & drnsreedhar- Thanks for the input! I appreciate it.

spock1k- Out of curiosity, why did you stop collecting Mughal coins? Is it merely due to the fact that the wholesale value is so low?

well to be perfectly honest I was only interested in the mughal mohurs and rupees in choice unc condition. it became impossible to find them and with my other collecting interests and retirement something had to give and the poor mughals lost out.

Hi everyone, so I was pretty happy with the previous rupee that I asked about. Today I stumbuled upon this one on ebay. I am not familiar with this type, so what do you guys think of it? Does it look fairly authentic and is it a reasonable price?
Thanks!

This is Shajahan rupee with square of dots. Condition of the coin is not that appreciable. Cost of around $40 is a bit too high in my opinion. Only thing in favour is that square of dots coins are not that common.

I will put the cost of this coin between $30-35. (This may vary according to demand).
