Hello All. I apologize in advance as my post may need to be moved to a more appropriate thread.
I am currently working on a complete set of walkers grading ms64 pcgs. I am only collecting coins that are white with great eye appeal. Does anyone know of a reputable dealer (you may even be the person I need) that specializes in walkers? My current dealer only handles so many white ms64 walkers.
Any thoughts/ insight would be greatly appreciated!
Look forward to hearing from you.

Most local coin stores and dealers at shows will want to sell to you at the "book" price. If you are buying PCGS only slabed coins then your best bet at finding a bargain are searching ebay with the words PCGS walking half or PCGS 1940 (or whatever year you need) or something along those lines and look for auctions starting at $1 rather than the "buy it now" sales which usually are at the book price. It may take you longer but if you wait long enough and let the higher priced ones go you can get a good deal.

I just received today my very first MS64 PCGS Walker from ebay seller copperpennyminer. I would buy from him again! His coin was the coin in this auction and exactly as described, and his communication and speed of shipping was fantastic! I have no connection with this seller other than as a very happy customer! Keep us informed as to your future purchases! (And we love pics!)

merclover, are you planning on assembling a set? I checked out the ebay seller's prices you mentioned and they looked a tad high? If you look around you shouldn't have too much trouble buying them between greysheet bid and ask. Also, how the heck do I quote another post!

I can only wish I could assemble a set of them! I looked and looked at a lot of Walkers before I bought the one I did, and I bought the best coin with visual appeal I could... I found not all MS-64s are the same... I took my time and found what I thought was a good strike and fairly mark free. There are a lot of graded MS-64s out there with a lot of unsightly marks. I didn't like the toning found on a lot of graded coins too. So, it was worth it to me to find the right coin, even if I paid a bit more for it. Also, to answer your question about inserting quotes... all you have to do is click on the "insert quote" (the second to last button in the row of buttons labelled "Format" or second box from the right) above where you enter text to post here and then copy and paste between the quotes. Hope this helps.
