For me it's CoinWorld (weekly)I like it because the articles are informative, and I don't mind the ad's either because they always have cool expensive stuff (that I will never be able to afford) but can still drool over. From what I have heard Numismatic News sounds nice too.

yup... usually around 95+ would you say? The only regret I have is that it takes so darn long to get to Canada... I think the latest issue I have is the Dec.4th issue, and here it is now the 24th of december... hmmm.

I have a subscription to Numismatic News and I have been happy with it. Weekly issues average 70-100 pages.

Instead of paying cover price, what a good price for a CoinWorld subscription? I know you can get really good deals through certain magazine companies. Anyone know of one?
Thanks,
Ty

I used to get Numismatic News, stopped for about a year, butnow I've just subscribed again. First issue should be along any day now. What I like aobut it is that there's a little bit about everything in it -- currency, exonumia, etc. And I like that it comes once a week, so news is pretty current.

pattiewhack, Coin World makes the issues avaliable online too. They have choices of paper issue, online issue or a combo of both. Maybe this would help, so you see the issues faster since they are slow by mail, getting to Canada.

Should you just get CoinWorld or CoiN Values also? They have a deal at CoinWorld to get both for not much more. What do you all think about CoinValues?

Thanks for all of the input! I went ahead and ordered a six month subscription to Coin World. Should have the first issue in 4-6 weeks!

Ty,
I purchase a lot of my magazine subs thru ebay at a greatly reduced rate on many of them.

Ty: I get both Coin World and Coin Values. I enjoy Coin Values more as there are just too many ads in Coin World. It is a good deal to get both. Coin Values has some great articles as well as the ever changing $ values and is a handy reference guide.

I also receive the Numismastics mag from the ANA.

Coin World is good, but the articles in Numismatic News are considered to be better.
The only problem is that Paul Green just died, but they have a nice backlog of his articles ready to go.
Sure, Coin World is bigger, and you have to get it with the Coin Values section, even though they print and date it way too early. The March 2007 issue just come with my 01/01/07 Coin World.
