For some reason I really like this RPM
Probably because I have such a hard time finding
them.

Chuck, I have had this one for about a year I think
I was in the mood to shoot some coins tonight

ilikeikes,

Boy oh Boy do I ever agree with you on the 1971 D FEV issue.
That is the one big thorn in my side issue about Ike's
With no less than 11 naked eye pick-up points.
How on Earth can it not be recognized as a variety
by some of the biggest Third Party Grading Companies
in the hobby.
Yet something like the High leaf and Low Leaf Quarter's are immediately added to the list.
Something fishy in the water.
Personally, I believe the 1971 D Friendly Eagle Variety is actually
a Pattern Coin. But that is a whole different argument.
Sorry for the rant

Terry

Totally agree with you on the 71D FEV!

Something is very wrong when an Ike that really stands out like this one does is not attributed as such by PCGS or NGC.

WHY?

At least ANACS attributes the FEV!
