That's good. I bought the Yellowstone a few weeks ago for 211 and I felt pretty good about that. They also had the hot springs but I didn't have the funds. Would have been the same price though so good price for you. 1st coin in the series so a good price fopr you!

Anyone care to post some pictures of the 2011 collector's versions? I collected the 2010s but didn't have the funds to continue on.

Finally picked up my NP7 from the post office. The design really stands out in the matte finish, much better than the proof like finish which tends to make a busy design even busier. These coins have completely fallen off the radar, in the wake of the hullabaloo surrounding the A25 set, and the metal dipping below $31 today. Looking forward to ordering the Olympic coin, NP8, though I suspect it'll much later next month than earlier.

So how much do the bullion coins cost? I don't buy from online places and have purchased the current 3 from the mint. Thanks

The bullion 5 oz coins have to be purchased on the secondary mint - per the mint's bullion program.

The collector ATB can be purchased directly from the mint.

Thanks. Yes I have purchased from the mint since the price decreased. My local shop only has one if someone comes in to sell. I was able to get the bullion yellowstone that was graded. I just wondered how much the bullion coins were and how the are packaged

If you don't want to try the usual online suspects, your best bet is to go to a regional coin show, a few bullion dealers will have them. These are the same dealers that have rolls of ASEs loose in their cases, no flips, 2x2s, holders of any kind. They are strictly bullion pieces and sold as such. The ATB are large coins with fragile, easily marred surfaces, and at the last show I attended, most of the 2010s were in graded holders, and some of the raw 2011s were in Air-Tites, but not all. The attrition rate from mishandling should be pretty high as the series goes on. The only way to buy the bullion coins as 'collectibles' are from a reputable PM dealer who either sells or gives you a holder along with the coin or a graded piece from PCGS, IMO.

Thanks. I guess I will just buy from the mint for now. I really don't want to deal with online companies

The Mint dropped the price on the ones still on sale today to $204.95. Still about a $40-$45 premium per coin. They need to reduce it even further to increase sales.

Thank you for posting! I did buy the Gettysburg for a few Christmas presents when it dropped to 229. I may just put away 2 Olympic for my kids since they were both to that park on a cross count trip in 1989!

I never buy from the mint... only from the local boys and the on-line companies. I have had excellent dealings with APMEX, Provident, and SilverTowne and can recommend all three of them. Am awaiting a Silver Maple shipment from Provident right now, in fact.

Yes but then don't you have to wire $ and pay shipping? I also don't like many people involved with knowledge of what I buy. The Mint is the only place to buy the uncirculated 5 oz coins. Some dealers have the bullion version. So the Mint is really the only place to get these unless you find a dealer that happened to buy one from a customer. Also can use a credit card at the mint no extra fees and 4.95 for shipping no matter how big the order is

I got a Vicksburg to put away for a present since I got Gettysburg and both battles took place about the same time. Also we have visited both parks. I think the fact that many of the parks have been personally visited adds to the reason to acquire anyone else still collecting?
