I thought the proof dies for this year were close A M. I'll post a pic once I get back from, taking son to Doc's. amassey08873 Pillar of the Community United States 584 Posts	Posted 10/26/2011 7:24 pm Thanks, I was going off the Cherry Pickers Guide Pg158 "The nomral business-strike reverse for the 1992 cents has the AM of AMERICA with a clear space between the letters. However, this 1992-D cent was struck with the Proof reverse for that year, which has the AM of AMERICA very close, almost touching." When I read this I thought I had something, The picture shows a Close AM almost touching. So are their 1992 proof cents with Close AM as well.
