Yes, nice AU, old dipping but most of these have been dipped. I'd look for someone to confirm authenticity.

I could see that coin sliding into an MS holder pretty easily. It's probably a true 55/58 but is good enough to be "market-graded" 61 or 62.

Very nice.

yeah I agree the details are MS but I thought the fields/rim are a little ruffed up so that was my reason for an AU grade it sure is nice.

Beautiful coin! Looks to be at the very least a very high AU or possibly MS. It might have had a dip but I am not sure if that is just in the pictures.

Please keep this thread posted if you get back results from a TPG should you decide to go that route. It would definitely be worth the investment for a coin of this scale.
