If your reason fo being pulled is legit for that reason alone, I would be copying/pasting web addresses to the other couple hundred "pre sales" goin on right now. Email ebay that and see what they say. Sounds to me though that you have more than just the "in hand" issue going on

here it is Dear wheatman27 We're pleased to have you as part of the ebay Community. However, the following listing(s) were removed and all fees have been credited to your account: 120801252492 - 2011 AMERICAN EAGLE 25th ANNIVERSARY SILVER DOLLAR SET RARE LOW MIINTAGE PRESALE Because the 2011 25TH SILVER EAGLE ANNIVERSARY SET is in such high demand, requirements have been put in place for 2011 25TH SILVER EAGLE ANNIVERSARY SET sales. It has been reported that the MINT sold out of these within 5 hours. We understand that some sellers on ebay could have potentially placed their order in time, however we request that these coins are not listed unless they are in the physical possession of the seller. We also suggest the following: - The listing needs to include a unique photo of the item or items, and your User ID needs to be clearly shown in the picture (watermarks will not be accepted). - To ensure buyer protection, PayPal needs to be the only accepted form of payment. We understand that you may not have known about these requirements. However, please note that future violations may result in a range of actions, including listing cancellation, limits on account privileges, account suspension, forfeiture of ebay fees on canceled listings, and loss of PowerSeller status. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation. Sincerely, ebay Trust & Safety team H48284

Your post was probably 'reported' by another seller in an attempt to decrease competition. If I were you I'd just list again, or if you have the time and are feeling spiteful you can report other sellers for the identical non-violation.

Quote: If I were you I'd just list again, or if you have the time and are feeling spiteful you can report other sellers for the identical non-violation. Honestly, I think that's terrible advice. It's quite obvious from the email that they have made an exception to the the normal presale rule with this specific item. ebay frowns very severely upon repeat offenders. Relisting it would likely get you an immediate suspension and cost you money in future fees since only sellers in good standing get discounts.

That really stinks, daviscfad. It looks like a bunch of sellers are complying with the standard "pre-sale" rules but not the special ones for the 25th anniversary set. Presumably, it will take ebay awhile to catch up with all of them, so you shouldn't take it personally that yours was canceled but not their auctions (yet). You gotta love the ones showing a picture of a shipping box instead of the coins, as if they had already been shipped and received... Speaking of ebay and the 25th anniversary set, can somebody explain to me what is up with this auction? How can they be listed as "25th anniversary" (certified by ANACS, no less) and yet be from 2010? Or is that what makes them so "rare"?

Technically last year was the 25th...Count them out, starting with 1986-2010. 2010 would be the 25th coin released.

Yep, 2010 is the 25th coin, 2011 is the 25th year.

By that count 1987 would have been the second anniversary.

I think a lot of people and companies misinterpret the word anniversary. Last year the Minnesota Vikings had a patch celebrating their 25th anniversary 1886-2010(which was their 25th season). The Dallas Cowboys had a patch celebrating their 50th anniversary 1960-2010(even though 2010 was their 51st season)...
