I have quite a few of the 1 dollar coins with the indian holding a child and the eagle on the back. The coins are 2000 and it has a letter P under it. I need to know are they worth anything or are the just worth the dollar that they are. Does anyone know anything about two dollar bills?

Worth face value unless very high grade.

Like new and high grade aren't the same. Unless you can look at them and go WOW, these things are PERFECT, they aren't high grade. Perfect meaning they have zero scratches, rubs, dings, fingerprints, or any other flaw. Every coin tends to have a high spot on the design that wears before the rest, this is were even rubbing up against another coin will leave a mark.

You could probably post pics in the US Notes section to be sure, but as I understand it, the green seal 1976 and 1999 series notes are only worth face value unless, again, they're in perfect pristine unfolded condition. Older notes from the 1960s with a red seal are scarcer, but even these you might have difficulty finding anyone who will pay more than $2 for them unless they're uncirculated.

If you got the dollar coin out of a box of cheerios they could be worth thousands. you probably didn't, however.

What I suggest you do with these Sacagawea dollar coins, is to go to any local bookstore and find their "coin book" section. There, they will have coin albums and folders.
These will have the "little holes" that you put coins into.
Get the Sacagawea album/folder and......

.............. BEGIN YOUR COLLECTION ! ...........

You've got the makings of a good beginning right now !

Look around your town for a "coin shop".......or online for sources to collect this series.
Or even RIGHT HERE ON CCF. Many members will help you with this collection if you desire to begin collecting the series.
