I still do not understand completely how you get your money into your pocket after selling on ebay with PP.

After someone pays for a purchase with PP the $$ goes into your PP account less the fees. How then do you get that $$ away from PP and into your bank/pocket? Some form of withdrawal? I've been to the PP site and searched here and Googled for the answer.

Thanks for any clarification, Jim

There is a transfer to bank account link, (under withdraw) also if you did not get one you can ask for a paypal Debit/Credit card and withdrawl $$ using that...

If you have a bank account linked to your PayPal account, you can transfer funds to your bank account.

Don't link your bank account to paypal! If for some reason there is a disputed case opened, usually by a scammer, paypal AUTOMATICALLY deducts the funds from your paypal account until the issue is resolved(Your guilty until proven otherwise...isn't THAT special"!)...they WILL take money from your bank account to cover the funds...
Instead, I just have Paypal cut me a check once a week..click the "withdraw funds" tab.
Trust me, I've been through the ringer with scammers, who know how to use the buyer protection system to their advantage, mostly bullion buyers, thanks to ebay's no negatives for buyers rules, all have 100% feedback(when in doubt of a buyer's record, look at 3 years of past feedbacks, and scroll down to look for "feedback removed"...those are the people they have scammed, and, in the old days, would have been a negative)...they win EVERY time, no matter if you did nothing wrong...you better read paypalsucks.com before adding your bank account..I really advise against it..besides, it's usually a debit card used from a checking account, and, if hacked, it's very tough, and, a long wait to get money back, as compared to a regular credit card ,,most security sites will tell you to NOT use a debit card online, if at all possible...

One time I was getting ripped off by I buyer, my paypal balance went to negative. I was fighting on ebay and the case was still unresolved. Then I made a purchase on ebay for about $7 or so. Paypal "popped" up the screen confirming my payment of $7...then charged my credit card a seperate large amount to cover the $7 plus the unresolved nagative balance.

I think their guilty until proven innocent policy is wrong, but if that's their policy, fine, I'd deal with it. What I was extremely upset about was being charged the difference amount without being told so. Maybe a lawyer can chime in here....isn't it a fraudulent practice to ask a buyer to confirm a certain amount and then charge them another. My screen literally said $7, with no mention of any other charges-and my bill was far greater than that amount

If I went to the grocery store, and the credit card screen said confirm $7, and I was not charged $7, that would be illegal. Why can paypal do this, even it the intent is burried somewhere in their rules/regulations.

Bottom line.....I am a proud member of the ebay/paypal hate crew.

Yea, I didn't want to do the bank account link option. I was wondering if they would cut you a check.

I guess there is a option for that?
