So most of us know that serial numbers above 95999998 are not circulated in $1 notes. So I put the following question to you, is it unusual to find a $100 with a serial this high in circulation? Just for the record I am not asking for me as I already know the answer, I am educating you on the subject

I thought 99---- were only reserved for uncut sheets! I think that would also explain the lopsided margins on the top and right since someone probably cut it from the rest.

Sorry the margins were due to my hasty crop job on the scanned note. I rescanned it for you.

Oh. and no that is not a correct answer.
Rest in Peace

I'll take a stab at this one. It's counterfeit? (in other words, I don't have a clue)

Im going to guess NO because the BEP doesn't have uncut sheets of money for the $100 bill, so they would not save those serial numbers

I honestly figured someone would have gotten this by now. $50 and $100 note serials 99200000 and higher are not circulated, so technically the serial number listed above isn't even considered a high serial since it could be 140k higher and still be a circulated note.
