I had my camera out today taking pictures of my SLQ's and took a few of my silver dollars as well.

Any of the experts care to offer their opinion as to grade and value of the Trade dollar and the 1882CC and 1889 Morgans as I am not a dollar kind of guy.

1880 S Morgan

I got this one when I was young (and I cleaned it) A friend of my mothers came by with her son and he had this dollar. He said he traded some other kid a disposablelighter for it. I don;t remebr what I paid at the time but I would think it was around $4-$5 circa 1988.

1882 CC Morgan

My parents knew some people from church and they found a box of Morgans and Walking halves in their attic from some previous owner of their house. If I recall coreectly I got this one and the 1889 Morgan in exchange for babysitting their kids once or twice.

I'm not sure if this coin has been cleaned as it has an ugly dull grey color over the entire coin

1889 Morgan

Not sure if it has been cleaned as it looks to white to me for the age (not a dipped bright white color but something looks off)

1874 S Trade dollar

I always wanted one of these coins with chop marks and I saved up all of my allowance and chore money when I was a kid and I think I paif $70 or so circa 1990 for this one.

1926 Peace

Even after I stopped actively collecting I would stop by the local coin store maybe once every 2 years and pick up coins that were holed. The oner sold me this one for $10 or so if I recall. I used it as a key ring for a few years so it is a little more beat than when I got it. Also someone had scracthed their initials BA on it so I added mine as well.

Too bad about the hole/graffiti on that Peace dollar, melt only. The Trade dollar has some nice "chop" marks on it...cool coin!
The Morgans from what I can see, the 1880 appears cleaned and the 1889 appears dipped.

The 1880s and the 1926 are definitely melt value. The 1889 looks to be high end AU or low MS (or higher. hard to tell) but re-toned after a dip. The 82-CC is worth something as the CC mint mark always carries a premium. It's probably less common in circulated grades versus MS. The Trade dollar is history. That has crossed the ocean and back at least once. Nice coin. Just my opinion as I am no expert.

I have seen a few Trade dollars with chop marks but never owned one. it is very cool. No dollar expert here but I do know that the cc's carry a better price tag as someone has already said!
