so I posted this coin about 5 months ago and it was identify as a cho gin... at the time I didnt think much of it so I decide to clean it.. when I did all the black dirt came off and this yellow color appear that looks like gold... doin research I didnt find one is there one in existance? or is this a reproduction? I know its not plated because I put it over a fire lol... any help is much appreciate! thank you

Judging from the pics of the first post and this one, it looks like a brass copy.
The color in the first post would have been more correct. The fact that it came off is very telling, as these would have been solid rather than gilded.
The metal does not really look like gold, especially gold after a cleaning. It's much too dull. Anyhow, I think making a gold replica of a silver coin kind of defeats the purpose of making a replica.

figures! thanks numismat :)... pheewww good thing I bought the coin for a buck at the flee market...ur theory makes sense because I took it shop and dude said to rub it and if it smells its brass because brass stinks compare to gold
