I would like help to identify what appear to be errors with this Quarter. What first catches my eye is directly under the bust, but the whole thing just looks off to me and I am just learning about coin collecting. Thank you!

First off Hope you will find some useful information here.

Sorry, maybe I'm being dense, but I don't see anything directly under the bust. The only thing I see is that the cutout of the coin is slightly off center (I see a pretty bold edge on the bottom, but not the top). Unfortunately, that is pretty common, and it may just be the angle of the picture. That's my opinion, but lets wait and see what the experts say.

to CCF bbuice. I see what your talking about,below the bust and above 71. I would guess it's a die gouge but I'm just guessing.

It looks like it might have had a little bend and been straightened.
Time don't fly, it bounds and leaps.

It is slightly off center towards the top. The rest seems to be damage.
