I think you would need to be very familiar with the type of coin it is to be able to recognise it from the remaining features. Hopefully someone on here will be able to steer you in the right direction. The only thing I think I can see is perhaps a stellate flower in the top picture, I know these are on some Greek coins but don't know where else they have been used. Report this Post to the Staff

If you look close at the fields on the reverse you can make out at least the C in the right field and possibly the S in the left field. I wonder if this could be a winged thunderbolt. But be that as it may, I'm not sure one can attribute this coin much more. From the image of the obverse I can't make out any detail. Is there anything you can make out in-hand?
