Hello everybody, I recently bought these coins. Pius denarius and the 3 bronze coins I bought from Bulgaria. Here's the thing about the rest of them. The Augustus coin on the left I bought from Harlan J Berk. Rest of them are from a very respected London dealer's ebay auction. I don't why both coins look so different - style, weight and diemeter. What do you think?

I have noticed on this particular coin there are different bust styles. My guess is that they were minted at different mints and using different dies within mints. As for the weight and dimensions , that is hard to explain away as there was set perameters ( see SAP's comments at https://goccf.com/t/101532).
Again, my guess would be something to do with time and condition of the coins "resting" place over the centuries. Perhaps someone else can chime in on this.

BTW, those are some nice looking coins. The two you are speaking about can be fairly expensive coins even on ebay.

P.S. Looking at the second Augustus coin it looks like it may be a fouree which might also explain the differences.
