I will say that it's pretty cool!

Strictly speaking, I'm not sure it meets the requirements of a "coin" as it wasn't "coined" in the strict sense of the verb. Coining is a cold working process whereby large amounts of pressure are used to transform a substance (usually metal) by stamping. This is strictly speaking a cast piece. But, without being too pedantic, it is "coin shaped" and there have been historically speaking some cast pieces which have circulated as specie. Very cool video, and thanks for the link!
