I added four more (ANACS Graded & Attributed) capped bust half dollars to my capped bust half dollar gallery . 1819 O-111; 1826 O-111; 1829 O-112; and 1830 O-102. Remember, all these coins were picked up for around $100 or. Please tell me what you think :)

Ben, your Bust Half collection is just breathtaking!

Thanks so much for sharing it with us! I am still amazed at how cheaply these coins can be purchased. I find them to be one of the most beautiful of the US coins.

Breathtaking? No more than the ones you've posted in the past. Now those (1829!) are special.

Hey Ben those halves are beautiful. I think the Capped Bust series are true American Classics and one of the best looking US coins ever minted. To my mind the fifty cent CBs are dirt cheap given the design and the history they represent.

Ben:
You never cease to amaze me. You are forming a true collection, not one of those buy-it-now jobs. This is work, I know I've been working on my set for years.
Congratulations on adding some nice pieces.

I just put up an 1810, O-104a in F-12/15 condition. I know it was cleaned, but the price was right :)

Unfortunately, that 1829 was sold a while ago. Now, I'm working on collecting them but it's slow going since we also sell. I have found that collecting while also selling is very difficult. You are inspiring me to add more to my collection this year. If I can add 3 more this year, I'll be happy.

It doesn't help that I've also discovered the Chinese unicorn coins. I started looking at them when I was looking up some info for a new member who posted a Chinese panda coin. I now have a bid in on one and bought another outright on ebay. It's nice to be actively collecting again. I've really missed it. I had to sell my entire collection to get our business started and it's only now that I am able to start to collect again.
