HE is a coin shop and, frankly, I think he just doesn't want to bother looking through and separating out low grade stuff like this.

Nice. My experience is that it takes surprisingly little digging to cherry-pick some good stuff from dateless buffalo lots. I've found good stuff in lots that had already been picked over (like the acid-dated '14-D that I got in a cheap dateless lot).
I was chatting with my local dealer about my roll searching, and he was saying that he tells people to just spend dateless buffaloes because he's got no incentive to buy them. Maybe I should just offer to take them off his hands.

The dealers just don't look at low grade buffaloes (or LWC). I bought a type 1 13-S, two 14-S and 14-D from the same dealer for $0.40 each last year. All AG3 or less, of course. Gotta love buffaloes!

I found another 15-S that looks like it was in the ground (dark, pitted) but still has VF detail remaining. I'll soak it in acetone for a while to see what happens.

Very sweet looking finds. I have been debating over where or not to buy a coin lot of so called unsearched nickels or a 5000 count bag of wheat cents, also unsearched if there is anything like that still around.

Mario: A word to the wise: If it's advertised as "unsearched", it's NOT! What I have here is a collection of Buffalo nickels that were accumulated for me by a guy who runs a coin shop and who is too busy with higher end items to bother looking through the nickels. As people walk into his shop and say "Got any cruddy old Buffaloes I can look through?" he says "NO" because he knows that I will buy ALL of them at a set price regardless of what may be in the group. So...I got pretty lucky with this batch, but it should not cause you or anyone else to run out an buy so-called "unsearched" lots. You'll be disappointed if you do!

Our local Coin shop used to take Buffs in at 10 cents each, unless they were really nice and sell them at 2 dollars each for ones with dates and 20 cents for dateless. The new owner does not buy them at all. Not worth his time.

That's probably true what you're saying, but that just makes no sense from his standpoint. If we're talking "dateless" buffalos, it would only take a few minutes to even look through 1000 to see if there is a date or not. These aren't wheat cents where there's just millions floating around and no dealer wants to search through that stuff that has been searched through already 20 times. How many buffalos can he get....even searching through dated ones doesn't really take long and would certainly be worth it considering how many keys and semi-keys there are. The coins you posted, while all being AG-3, or possibly a somewhat liberal G-4, are still worth some money and would have been worth his time. It's great for you though. btw, steev, I've recently been seeing dateless buffalo lots sell for more money than some dated lots with only common dates. I find that kind of funny, but makes some sense considering that there does seem to be demand for acid dated semi-keys and keys. If only people knew to just take their dated coins and rub the date off they could make more money...not sure if I'm kidding.

jmkendall: Yeah...my guy might not bother buying them either except for the fact that he knows he can sell them all to me and make a small profit.

I haven't noticed any examples of what you mentioned, except where the seller is advertising that ALL of the no dates has a mint-mark. I have a seller who sells me strictly mint-marked, dateless Buffaloes and I DO pay a premium for them.
