I don't know much about coins that are this old, particularly gold.
Any thoughts if this coin is real or fake or an old imitation?

Has to be compared 'in hand' with a known genuine coin. That way, it can be weighed, checked for diameter, and visually compared for thickness. Then you look at it for style.

At a glance, looks quite OK to me!
