Since we have already done all the Modern Commemorative dollars I have finally taken pictures of all the halves that I have. I do not have all of them so if you have one that I do not have please post a pict. Looks like I am missing all of the 1995/1996 Atlanta halves and the 1994 World Cup Half. I'll go in order and post one a day. Hope everyone enjoys!

I'll Start today with the 1982 Washington half.

Nice proof Washington, are you going to have proof and Unc. in this thread? I have a 1994 World cup proof that I will dig out and get a shot of for you.

Muddler- sure Proof and UNC are welcome. Most of mine are proofs except for the Bald Eagle. I did not realize I had so many halves until I was rearranging my coin and looked at RedBook and I was kinda shocked. So, I just need to get the 1994 World Cup and the Atlanta games and I'll have them all. Just my luck that the most expensive ones are the Atlanta games. :-(

I only have a few of the halves as I decided a long time ago to not collect clad coinage.

Very nice!

I have both the proof and uncirculated versions of this coin. I bought them direct from the mint in 1982. They are both in my 7070 now.

I still have the original literature from the US Mint mail from when I ordered them...

I know this is not the best looking Half and if someone has a better looking one please feel free to add it. It's taken on an almost golden hue now. Ok, on with the show!

Well that makes three of us with toning issues with this one type coin. Do you think there was an issue at the mint?

Had to be an issue or an issue with the clad composite that they were minted from.

I really like the design on the Columbus half, better than the dollar in my opinion.
