Here's my newest and one of my favorite Capped Busts. It's a PCGS XF40 O-107. Check out the cool die clashes on the reverse, especially Liberty under the shield and in the fields. Simply amazing.

Kookoo that is a great die clash. The 45 degree rotation and the clash like that on one coin is awesome, no wonder its your new favorite.

Wow, it really is a week for bust halfs! Here's mine, not as nice as the ones posted but I got a great deal as I spent a cool g at the shop...

I'd say the obverse is EF-45 but the reverse holds it back to VF... I don't know.. I'm not the best at grading these and forgot to have it checked out by my go to guys for grading.. I was too excited about the Seated dollar (my first) posted below the half. The general thoughts on the dollar from my guys (as well as the shop owner) was EF-40, and the pics are horrible, cell phone.. I'll try to get some better ones soon but the hair detail and liberty are sharp although they don't appear to be in the pics. Surprisingly for some reason the reverse pics came out pretty good.. But I couldn't get the detail in the obverse with my phone for the life of me!!

Kookoox10- wow!! That is an amazing half! Liberty in the shield like that is just awesome!!
Here's another I picked up, PCGS something something... Lol.. I'm not gonna say yet, I wanna post it in classics and see what people think before I say what this one graded.. It's the old green PCGS label also.

In these photos you have to look close, the reflections doubled.. One set actually reflecting off the coin that's dark and only in the fields and another lighter set between them that's reflecting off the slab not the coin.. There's no reflection at all on her face or the eagle. And it reflects much better than the pics show.. Again due to my cell camera and not a real one.. I'll get better pics of all my new purchases soon. This one reflects both sides clear as day from about 10 inches. Although that black scuff on the back gets to me.. It's just something on the coin.. Marker maybe? I'm tempted to crack it out and see if acetone will remove it, although I doubt I will.. Lol.

Thank you gentlemen, appreciate the compliments!

Mackwork-That is a sweet overdate, it's ever so subtle but you can see the underlying "1". Congrats on the pick!

NathanASE-I don't know what that Morgan will grade, but I'm guessing it will have a PL designation. That's a beaut!

Kookoox10- the Morgan is in a old green PCGS slab.. And doesn't have a PL or DMPL designation.. I don't get it.. It's undoubtably PL, if not DMPL... (And under graded, IMO at least) All I can think is that black marker or whatever's on the reverse held it back from both a higher grade and the PL designation... But it's not damage.. It's marker or something like that just on the coin. I'm debating cracking it out and seeing if acetone will remove the black spot.. But I doubt it.. Just my luck it wouldn't..lol.
But there were a few Higher MS's next to this one and I looked at all of them before buying this one and this one was nicer than the ones graded 2 numbers higher.. I don't get it.. Lol, that's why I like to try to cherry pick raw coins..

That's a beautiful Indian $5 gold Lex

I'm always in the market for a nice one such as that, preferably raw and have been watching some $2.50 Indians to complete my set.
