Tatt- that 1879-S Morgan does look proof-like! And you did it again! You captured the frostiness of the silver. I can really sense a "depth" in that image. Man, when I look at that coin it's like being in a silver-sprinkled dream. Ok, I'm awake now. :-) Thanks for posting these pictures. I'm going to save that 1879-S image too. I am inspired.

Today, I went to the local coin show, and I looked at all the dealers. I bought a few notes, but only ended up buying one coin.

Okay, the 1893-S was the main reason for going.
With this addition, my Morgan dollar Set is finished. It's not "complete" without the 1895 Proof, but it is finished.

Recently bought an 1875 s Twenty Cent Piece for my collection. It does have the letter M carved into it, but I got it for a low enough price to feel happy about the purchase.
