My uncle was driving me to my graduation today and I was sitting in the back seat. I looked on the floor and randomly saw a Wheat penny and it was a 1917. Thats the most recent. Terrible day overall, as far as how graduations should go, but that made it seem like it would be a good one at first.

Getting so close. . . I only need 2 more Peace dollars to complete the set (1927-S and the ultra-common 1928 - :-)

Just recently traded a guy. He likes silver and I don't necessarily collect silver coins.

I traded him:

He traded me:

2-indian head pennies 1889 and 1906
5-UK pennies 1922-1939

I think it turned out pretty good!

I really like the design of those two commemoratives.

I'm going on a bit of a road trip too, from southern California to Utah. I'm hoping to bring back a couple coin souvenirs as well.

Anyway I bought this along with a worn 1802 stemless reverse (I posted a topic about that one) and it only cost me $57 for the pair. I probably would have paid more than that just for this 1803 to be honest
