I put this up on the Main topic forum, but thought I'd share it here as well.

It's an 1898 Barber half dollar graded AU-55 by ICG. I won it on ebay. The coin hasn't arrived yet, but it looks like a very nice uncleaned Barber.

Thanks for sharing this, Tbone. I guess it's just me being nosy, but I always like to know what people have paid for their stuff. It's like something is missing without that information. I have always been interested in what things cost, especially expensive things.

@Ralph - I like the look of that 79-CC too. I'm sure it fits in just fine with your latest set.

Nice photocert pickup, Ed. Those were some of the toughest graded coins in the history of TPG grading so if it made an ANACS Photo 65/65 back then it would probably get a 66 or better TPG now, meaning I don't think you overpaid outrageously.
