I finally scored something at the LB auction, mostly because I made a mistake in figuring my fees and overbid. All my 1st choice stuff went way, way over my limits.

So many halves I looked at had a centering dot on Ms. Liberty's neck. It's not a big deal when it's small but it is when it's huge, looks like a pimple. I thought I'd picked one w/o it (not all bust halves have this) but guess not.

I have a line of credit at a nearby coin store after selling them a bunch of Franklin Mint silver a month ago, so I went to spend some of it today. I bought a large cent, older than my other ones by several decades. I think she needs some Verdi-Care.

Just grabbed these for $60. Sounded like a steal (sellers pictures)

Are you kiddin' me, man? You nabbed those for $8.57 each, and EVERY silver proof issue was included. That's just crazy! - gosh darn you, ratman. Was this a BIN listing?

Just a heads up with that album - the Large cents are differnt diameters so they ratlle around in that particular album. I cut small pieces of black colored foam to shim them in so they don't move around: Here's a picture to show you what I mean; (hope you can see them in this picture)

Darn. I was going to get a Dansco album, but I heard that the coins rattle around in those, too!

Thanks for the heads up - I'll start preparing some shims. BTW, that page looks great!

Yes, was a BIN listing from a pretty new seller. He actually had it listed that 2 sets were available. I bought and paid for both. He emailed me & told me that he only had 1 set & refunded $62 for any fees PayPal charged me (Newbie), so I only paid $58 ($8.29 each). Will be here in today's mail.
