Thanks, I don't want them all but I do want a Community Service unc yet. Maybe one or two others. I was reading about Jamestown and found the history interesting lately so there ya have it.
I had a scanner once that had a clear glass bed. Took awesome images. Then it wouldn't work with a newer Windows version when I got a new computer. So I bought a scanner and it had a frosted bed. Pur junk except maybe for documents or pictures.
If you scan coins, I suggest a clear glass bed.

My latest purchase is not so pretty. The 1922D I recently purchased completes my Lincoln Cent date-set back to 1909. :)

Nothing Earth shattering but I added this PCGS MS69 2007 P Founding Jamestown One Dollar to my Commemorative collection.
Nice additions!

coinjem - Probably G-06 details. Now start working on those keys!

Thanks. Yes, I'm working towards finishing this Whitman folder(#2) soon. It's not necessarily keys but just missing dates and/or mints that weren't part of the inherited coins I have in my collection now.

So today I bought some "modern" BU cents ($7.18 for 9 coins) to fill the gaps between 1962 and 1973. (Now why didn't I keep some of those coins each year when I was a kid? Other interests I guess... Now I'm buying them? Yikes!) These will, however, fill the gaps back to 1947 so it's worth it as a collector. :) The 1947P will be the next cent I'll get. The 1941D and 1942S will then be all I need to complete the Whitman folder.

Thanks, guys. I was just informed by one of the variety experts on CT that it is actually an unattributed DDO. Even better! I'm doing some research on it tonight.

Do any of the TPG recognize the variety? If so will you be re-submitting for attribution?

That is definitely a possibility down the road if it is a recognized variety. I still need to find that out.

Thanks. Yeah, Paddy was quick to reply with the DDO attribution. Based on the plate photos on Variety Vista, I believe my coin to be the 1937 DDO-002, 2-O-VI variety.

3 wild Buffaloes followed me home. I only needed the 1935-D but the entire lot was won for $10 so I'm not going to complain too much despite bad photos since the 36 and 37-D look VF+/XF at least.
