Looks like a F-12. Might have had a old cleaning. Nice coin and a great junk find!

I am going to go with VG on this coin instead of Fine.
There is only two full letters in Liberty that I can make out with no visible intact rail above or below.

Nice coin and a Key at that.....

Grading standards have become more lax in recent years. As long as parts of all 7 letters are visible, it will grade F-12. I would concur that it's a F-12 example.

I like buying Barber half dollars from old schoolers who still us teh old ANA standards. You're usually buying a coin that's a full grade higher than the one they're selling.
