Once again, this may have already been posted, but this seems like a great deal...

http://www.apmex.com/Product/59158/...e_Leaf_.aspx

$2.29 over spot!
Shipping, though is 20$, so if you get 20 coins, that comes out to be about $3.29 over spot a coin. Which seems very reasonable.

*EDIT*
Fixed link... I think

See if this one works:

http://www.apmex.com/Product/59158/...e_Leaf_.aspx

Edit: seems there is something in their URL that doesn't want to post/paste correctly, possible the truncation.

Either way, you can just go to their site and click on Silver -> Maples, etc -> 2011 1oz. ...

Nope, I dont know why.... the link is good...

www.apmex.com/Product/59158/2011_1_oz_Silver_Canadian_Maple_Leaf_.aspx

But the link takes it somewhere else.... But if you go to the main page at APMEX.com, its on the slideshow thing. You can also just find it. Its the one that says "$2.29 over spot".

Neither of the 1st two links worked but the 3rd one did.

Yes, that is a decent price over spot for sure.

I bought 100 Maples from APMEX about a month ago when they were $33+ a pop and available for a minimal premium. Nice to see them rising a bit.

I've read a few web sites where the opinion is that silver will take a dive before the end of 2011. Not sure if that is wishful thinking or based on any real knowledge of the silver market. I have some "dry powder" in case this happens, though. I do like the Maples. They are smaller in diameter but thicker than an ASE. They are solid and beautiful coins for sure.

Yes, briefly. But it would be a mistake to think that you can buy either ASEs or Maples for less than about a $3 per coin premium. Both of these are highly desirable and in good demand. One dealer local to me charges a $5 premium on ASEs and is often sold out. Then it becomes more a matter of can we get them at all and less a matter of can we get them cheap.
